The Webroot DAM had been operational for a year, with Ann as administrator and librarian. Marketing Communications embarked on a project: to establish a marketing best practices protocol for the creative process. Ann was asked to join the team to help answer the question, “How do we know if the marketing pieces we are producing are of value?”

Ann first used the DAM to do a content audit to understand the range of assets produced.  Then, an analysis of how many were downloaded, who was downloading them, and their departmental and regional affiliations. All this information is possible when your metadata is in good shape.  The Webroot project made smart use of their DAM expert to analyze their situation and a better way forward.
