Discovery to Launch, Ongoing Library Management, and Juicy Special Projects
Providing user-centered communications where they are needed —from non-profit organizations to Fortune 500 companies
Digital Asset Management systems are organizationally and technologically complex. A properly functioning system streamlines finding and sharing information. The whole process can be intimidating; Ann is an experienced guide through creation and launch, and an effective advocate between customer and DAM provider. She is a seasoned librarian and administrator, and relishes the special initiatives that arise as DAMs mature.
Discovery Through Implementation
Childs Company can lead you through any or all parts of the process, including discovery, design/development, and implementation. Ann will work with you to assess where your organization is now and where you want to go, then put that all together to create effective metadata, workflows, processes, governance, and metrics. She can also help you select a DAM provider, implement and test the system, and train your staff.
Ongoing Library Management
Daily management is essential to a healthy DAM. A DAM is like the Golden Gate Bridge: it always needs painting. Ongoing user care, training, and engagement is essential. Metadata needs to be current with the organization’s initiatives, outdated assets must be archived. Childs Company provides comprehensive services short-term or long-term: daily administration, processing and training new users, administering user surveys, troubleshooting, vendor relationship management, site improvements, special initiatives, reporting and presentation, governance and steering.
Special Projects
Oftentimes, initiatives arise that demand attention when there is no attention to give. Ann is the answer. New initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, brand refreshes, integrations with other technology tools, dashboards and partner portals, internal justification of the DAM, or even a facelift for the digital library.
